The proportion of New Hampshire's population that is 60 and older is growing more rapidly than other components of the population. 20 percent of the population is over 65, and that number is expected to increase significantly over the next several decades. The U.S. Census Bureau estimates that 26.3 percent of New Hampshire's population will be 60 and older by the year 2030, an increase of almost 40 percent from 2012.
BTS Home Care was inspired through the service of BTS NEMT. In serving area hospitals, rehabilitation centers, skilled care and nursing facilities, various medical centers and others, it wasn't difficult to identify the underserved market of area seniors desperately in need of additional support services.
Many times, the difference between remaining at home or needing to go to a long-term care facility is assistance with daily activities. BTS Home Care is designed to do just that, help seniors and those with mobility and memory challenges to remain at home for as long as possible while respecting the dignity, privacy, comfort, safety, independence, well-being, and happiness of all whom we serve.
Personal home care is actually the most affordable, yet most frequently overlooked service in the home care industry that can literally be the difference between your loved ones remaining in their own home, a more comfortable and a familiar environment, versus having to transition to much more expensive formal facility care.
Personal home care does not include medical or skilled-care assistance. Rather, it focuses on the often overlooked, yet, equally important activities of daily living (ADLs), eating, dressing, mobility, household chores, personal errands, and other tasks frequently not considered or even taken for granted when considering care for loved ones.
Caring for aging parents and loved ones can be a challenge, especially while working to maintain your own family and work responsibilities. Although living independently, you still worry about your loved ones and their ability to accomplish basic daily activities.
Although your personal and family obligations may prevent you from being directly engaged in the daily activities of your loved ones, it doesn’t mean you can’t ensure their safety while finding peace of mind in knowing someone experienced and responsible is available and present. BTS Home Care is proud to provide caring services when you are unable to be present.
